Recto:  Text in Dutch written in a rounded gothic bookhand in brown ink on heavy laid paper.  Ruled in red.  One superb six-line “puzzle style” initial ‘V’ in blue, red and black with extensive flourished red penwork extending into the top, left and bottom margins and ending in a black foliate design.


Verso:  As Recto, text only.


Origin:  Netherlands


Date:  c. 1500


Condition:  The leaf is in very good/excellent condition.  Apart from the expected edge browning, the leaf is in fine condition with clean paper and clear and bright text and decorations.  It is unconditionally guaranteed genuine.


Size:  Size of leaf: approx. 145x105 mm. Text and illuminated area : approx.  125x95 mm. Please note that postage is invoiced separately.  Australia $20, overseas, ask for quote.
